These are some of our frequently asked questions about our handmade jewellery. However, if you can't find what you're looking for, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
How long do 'made to order' pieces take?
Typically, made to order pieces (such as rings which need a specific size) take from 1-2 weeks from ordering to be made and delivered to you. If you need something in a hurry please email us and we will do our best to help you!
How do I find out my ring size?
There are many ways of measuring your ring size, from measuring an existing ring to measuring the circumference of your finger. These aren't always the most reliable, so purchasing a ring sizer is highly recommended!
Do you have a physical shop?
Not currently, although it could be an option in the future. For now, you can find Caerynys Shed pieces through our website, Instagram and some select pieces in our stockists.
Do you work with gold?
We do - but only for repairs, remodels and commissions. We work with white, yellow and rose gold.
How can I best look after my jewellery?
To keep your jewellery looking its best, you can follow these tips:
- Keep your jewellery away from chemicals and use gloves/remove your jewellery whilst cleaning etc.
- Remove your jewellery when exercising or swimming, as perspiration and chlorine can cause your jewellery to tarnish much quicker.
- Towntalk polishing cloths are brilliant for shining up your jewellery should it need a little bit of love.
Do you hallmark your pieces?
Yes - all silver pieces weighing over 7.78g are hallmarked. Pieces under 7.78g are '925' stamped. All gold pieces are also hallmarked in accordance with UK legislation.

Can you resize a ring I have purchased from you?
There is a minimum fee of £10 (not including postage to us or from us) to resize rings purchased from us - this is dependent on the complexity of the design, if it includes stones/seaglass or in the unlikely event that the whole piece has to be remade.
Do you sell outside of the UK?
All pieces can be posted outside of the UK for an additional charge - just get in touch.
